Potential Links Introduction
When navigating to the “Potential Links” tab, you’ll be greeted with a screen which looks like this.
This input is a powerful tool to help you find pages within your WordPress site that contain a particular phrase or keyword.
This is used to find pages which are relevant to the current article.
For example;
If you have a post that was primarily about ‘improving your running technique’, you could search for posts which reference the terms:
- Running
- Running Technique
- Improving your running
- and so on
Using Wilo, you can find valuable internal linking opportunities, which, if linked correctly, will boost the current URL’s SEO and ranking position.
The potential links results exclude content already linked to the article you are currently looking at. These are shown in the current links tab.
Recommendations
A high recommendation indicates that the keyphrase has been found many times on the page and is likely an excellent internal linking opportunity.
